This site is dedicated to the art of James McClure.  James is a Florida artist who does sculpture, woodturning, and woodworking.  The site includes information about the classes James teaches, pictures of his work, and purchasing information.  James resides in Pensacola, Florida.  "Living on the Gulf Coast of Florida provides inspiration and an abundance of raw materials for my art", says James.

Group Show: Carpe Lignum, Carpe Drappus

Gallery Zarragossa presents “Carpe Lignum, Carpe Drappus,” the art of transforming wood and fabric into functional forms by James McClure, Michael Peters and Sharon Combee. The artists’ works demonstrate their connection to nature’s intrinsically beautiful forms and a means to surround oneself in functional art. Opening night July 10, 2009, 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
