Description: The theme of this piece comes from the idea that it takes inner strength to maintain the commitment to environmental responsibility. Relying on an inner strength instead of falling to external pressures can help one stick to daily routines of recycling, reusing, and conserving that can add up over time and benefit generations to come.

This piece was made from rescued wood that was destined to be burned. The mulberry log was found at a construction site and was about to be burned. The pecan log was from a storm damaged tree.
