Description: There is both symbolism and irony in this piece.  The bowl is symbolic of us.  The box structure is symbolic of the world in which we live and from were we originate.  The bowl is made from the wood that came from the interior portion of the box structure.  The bowl is released from the box structure, but still contained within it.
